will they release EliteXC Heat on DVD? All the other events are all on dvd. Also will we ever see Gina Carono vs Cyborg? Will that fight take place anywhere sense EliteXC is done?

I not a fan of Lesnar. But you cant compare him to Kimbo. He was offered easy fights by the UFC but easily refused. Lesnar took the heavy road and fought Mir, Heath and now Couture.

I agree. Brock has faced top competition. But that's not what I am comparing. I am comparing the "special treatment" they are getting.

2-1 with a title shot against Couture? Over Nog? Werdum, Arlovski (who was on a 3 fight winning streak when they cut him)?

1-1 in the UFC gets you a title shot now?

Kimbo didn't even get a title shot and he was 3-0. Yeah, his comp was way lower, but the comparison is there.

You're right about Kimbo, I don't hate Kimbo. I hate the idea of Kimbo.

I hate that there are people who watch his sreet fights on youtube and then claim that he is the best fighter in the world or he can knock anyone out.  Stupid. Ignorant. Frustrating. I just wish people would become more knowledgable about the sport before spouting off about how amazing Kimbo is. I could possibly become a Kimbo fan if and maybe when he fights and beats legit comp.

Thing is, "the masses" will be uneducated about nearly everything. (unless it's MMA in Japan lol). You'll get people who think Kung Fu will beat any MMA guy in a fight. People who think Bruce Lee could beat anyone in a fight. Hell, some people think people tap from triangle chokes because they don't like their face being in the dudes crotch.

what? Brock Lesnar Co headlined UFC 81 against Frank Mir at 1-0. His competition was Min Soo Kim who is currently 3-6, honestly your just prejudice because Kimbo is just some dumb street nig to you

EliteXC's moulding of Kimbo is just point blank ridiculous.

They advertise him as the "baddest man on the planet" then gave him Bo Cantrell, Tank Abbott, Josh Thompson, Ken Shamrock.

These kind of crap tricks newer fans that Kimbo could hang with the best. Now you see people comparing him to Fedor, Nog, Couture.

EliteXC should have stopped with Josh, and gave him Brett Rogers instead of Ken Shamrock

I'll respect them for that.

But if you are going to give any special treatment at least give it to a guy who deserves it.

Point is, UFC has a more reasonable treatment to a guy who will give the company ppv buys plus a guy who actually has talent. I think Brock fits that card much more than Kimbo

I really cant blame EliteXC alone. I think Kimbo too enjoys these easy fights. He can disagree and took Aleks, Frank or Arlovski instead of Seth. I even LOL'd even more when he refused to touch gloves with Seth before the fight. Humble my ass! When ask about Sean Gannon, he refuses to give him any credit. He looks really plastic when being humble. I'm just glad the Kimbo hype train is now over.

I don't think most people never hated Kimbo. What 'Real' MMA fans hated is the fact that Kimbo was given the headline on cards when he never proved himself and far more proven fighters were never given this chance. Brock Lesnor (I hate this guys attitude) is a little different story because he has a great NCAA (Div 1) record and he has proven himself to some degree. I still think Brock was moved up Way too high on fight cards because the UFC wants to get his WWE fans.
