  • That is amazing! I've never heard a countertenor sing! How low is your range?

  • Thanks for your generous comments! If you listen to my "Quia Fecit Mihi Magna" or my renditions of "This Saith the Lord" or "But who may Abide (Version 1)", you will hear the lowest notes that my voice can comfortably reach.

  • You're the top , I'm a voice teacher and has a young counter tenor student , may be I'll give him the aria antiche....thanks for your inspiration...by the way what country or what city you are in now>?......Alex

  • I am extremely flattered that I could be an inspiration to any young singers anywhere. Currently I reside in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States. Thanks for the very kind comments!

  • Thank you all for your kind comments!

  • This is exactly as it would have sounded in purcell's time, including with a man singing in falsetto. This is a beautiful, musical, historically accurate, rendition. Thank you for posting!

  • awsome!

  • Bravo. Fantastically good. I love your ornimentation.

  • wtf i rlly didnt expect that lol

  • my choral instructor is a counter tenor too! nice piece, i have to do it for my high school auditions for All-County chorus. Wish me luck :D

  • I am singing this as well, and tried to read synopsis' on the Indian Queen, but I still don't know what character is singing this song and about what. The opera seems very confusing to me. Do you know?

  • I found your post after listening to the Reinald Werranrath version., and I am impressed. I have very old records of two famous countertenors, Richard Jose and Will Oakland, and you are definitely in their league. Thanks.

  • I really like your embellishments!

  • AMAZING! O_O

  • Bloody HELL!

    This is so GOOD!

Wish you could join Consort5 as our alto.

Bravo bravo bravo,; possibly my favourite thing on here :D

  • Really well done!!!!!

I'm twice as impressed because ur accompanying yourself & yet managing to concentrate on putting the emotion & embellishment (really nicely) & emphasis on the words, too....while you're playing. I don't know many singers who could do as good a job as u.

    Bravo!

  • Pity about the buzz in the background. Are you sure you've got the levels as best you can get them?
