  • Whiz Bang is now learning to do flying lead changes and (keeping my fingers crossed) will move up to Third Level this year . When we started her in training four years ago, I would have never imagined that she would make it this far....so keep training and one day you will find yourself saying the same thing!

  • your hose is a perfect example of a standardbred off the track and what they can do! They are given bad reps for "not cantering" but it's just because people don't know about them.

  • @jcsbyrd36

thanks for the nice comments....Whiz Bang just got back from the World Equestrian Games where she and 7 other Standardbreds did a demo...people were amazed that Standardbreds can not only do dressage but also jumping...

  • My standardbred jumps like a pro. Sucks at dressage, but that is only because i do :p Theyre so underrated, the best horses you can find!

  • Beautiful, this gives me hope that my 3YO OTTSB training horse will make it to at least traaning level someday!

  • i own a standardbred, and i want to be like this one day :)

  • Thank you so much for the video. After years of riding (and about a month of dressage on a PSG school master) I'm finally considering a horse of my own. I'm about a year away from making that move (man plans God laughs), but I'd forgotten how much I loved Standardbreds. While I've put it in the hands of my trainer and instructors, this breed is what I am looking at. I'd love to take an OTT SB. My trainer is a John Lyons trained professional and I love what he does with horses. Thank you again.

  • Magnificent performance.

  • oh I was there this week! I wish I could have seen them. I visited the booth for the standardbreds and bught dressage equiptment today! wish me luck on training! ^_^.

  • How inspiring, I just started my lovely standardbred mare in the ring!
