Nice B!. I grew up listening to and playing GoGo. I have to tell you though I am not and have never been a fan of the new style of GoGo that is inclusive of the open hi-hat. It over powers the sound and the groove get's lost in it.
You are already set gettin with Chuck. However, expand your listening with some old school Rare Essence, Trouble Funk, and EU. Also try some Ayre Rayde; Michelle N'degeochello (sp.) played with them back in the day.

Fabulicious!!!! It's gonna be real funkee this summer ;0
As someone who grew playing in Go-Go bands I was surprised that you were able to catch the essence of the beat. Believe me not everyone can get that go-go feel.
Look forward to hearing the finish results.

Very cool groove, Love it. Will have to read up on Go-Go music a bit myself. What buffer settings are you using for you Virtual instruments? Are you able to work at 256 or do you need it lower at 128 or even 64?
Thanks

I'm at 128....seems to work the best for me. I think you just have to try a few and see what works for your setup.
