''blondification''... oh dear.
-
Just to let you all know.. you must bleach and bleach your hair until it is down to a frozen butter color.. or it won't tone to platinum.
I use Sheer Delight Roux oil based bleach from Sallys and I am platinum! I leave the shampoo in for 3 mins exactly.
Msg me for any Qs and good luck!! :D

hah nice

@Alimjones1 RoFL....you are too funny!...Good one!

One more bleach would have taken the orange out, or you could have used purple tones, like an ash colour xD
-
actually depending on what color u start with orange is part of the blonding process.....if this happens to u...an ash blonde color will correct the orange.
-
use a purple toner. get it at you're hair salon. or salys.
-
I used XXL Ice Blonde - The same happened to me!!!!
-
mine turned out just like that. used xxl platinum then a whole load of purple shampoo. now its pretty light blonde :)
Well on the bright side, your hair matched the kitchen cabinets. Lol

what dye did you use over it and did it work? as i lightened my hair last night and it is orange and i go back to school in 2 days...PLEASE HELP:(!

@MrGarystevenn the dye didn't work... but get yourself to a beauty/salon supply store and ask the lovely ladies there for a toner that will help eliminate the orange... it is very useful... aaand take a look at mydogbarley99's comment... they've got good advice there...

For anyone watching this, Here's a tip to avoid this lol
When you bleach your hair work from your roots up because the heat of your scalp will make the bleach process faster. Also, when your done rinsing out the bleach use a toner it will take out the orangey and yellowy color.
Another thing is make sure whatever shampoo and conditioner you use is purple as well! Trust me... I know from experience.
