@Daavid177 SOFLAM is a Recon Unlock. CITV is the 3rd seat if you go that option. SOFLAM is a little quicker to unlock seeing as CITV is 100k points in tanks.

@GrandyRopless1 That's why you designate a guy to take jeep spawns and c4suicide them into tanks :D

@Deviouss11 if you end up in a game where the enemy TEAM is using TEAM TACTICS, and your team is not, your team deserves to lose :)

Jets can avoid Javelins and tank missles...

@GrandyRopless1 Glad i am console pilot. Got 500+ kills in jets any never killed på javelin and only under 10 times by tanks that have locked on to me. The combo of laser painting and guided shells is rare on ps3 imo. I only see it when me and my mates uses it.

@GrandyRopless1 ECM, and line of sight are your key tools against this, all tanks should be spotted so that choppers dont get caught out of position, SOFLAM is easy to spot (from miles away) and tanks are your main objective as a chopper - its not that bad in my opinion

@insanitystudio no and yes, no you cant put the soflam on a tank, but yes because the CITV unlock is basically a SOFLAM built into the tank (in a 3rd spot)

@sacriel42 Wtf? The CITV station can designate all things the SOFLAM can, including air vehicles.

@GammahooX my point is that a soflam can be remotely placed, and thus offer out-of-line-of-sight locks for tanks that can fire guided shells over obstacles.
a tank gunner using its own CITV can only target things it can see anyway, a tank using a soflam can target things it cant see
