tv6 pre launch test transmissions 26th July 2009

After months of being forgotten, tv6 has finally changed from an ETP-1 test card to a test caption. Each ITV region has its own caption, displaying the transmitter site. This now means that tv6 will launch soon.
In a few days, tv6 will switch to a more authentic slide using a similar theme to the slides it will use when the station is launched. Trade test films will also be shown, and with line ups of the first day.

This is a mock of a 6th UK channel. There is a website which shows a fictional 6th channel called Network Six, but this is mine.

It will be avavliable on analogue, digital terrestrial (Freeview and fictional digital platforms called SiriDigital and Rankin Digital.) Digital Sattelite (Sky) Digital cable (Virgin Media) and live streaming.

At the moment, the test transmissions are being carried out only on analogue, but in this fictional world, tomorrow tests will begin on the other platforms

I have not yet decided the launch date, but I can guarantee you that it will be sometime before 25th August. As long as I don't get distracted by anything else.
