Omfg, this isn't about race!!!! Shut the fuck up!!!! It was just that Ansimov did a douchy little move, and the other team reacted!!! They didn't react cause he was Russian, they reacted cause he's a douche, if a Canadian or American player did this they'd get in shit too!!!!! (Sean Avery ringing any bells!!!!!)

Just a comment...America and Canada are the countries of immigrants. For example Wayne Gretzky roots coming from Russia and Poland. It's just a little thought for you to think about if you wish, so maybe you won't be so crytical to the country where you have never been. But you're right, it's a big corruption in Russia and I don't like it...anyway it's politics, but we're discussing a game/ hope you understand my point.

I wish our "talentless" players stay backhome- we only win, but NHL invites them and pay them much more, that's fine for me. We've started continental ligue, so many of our players wish to stay&play there, so don't idealize America.

And how can you know what would or wouldn't happen? to much honer and class, you must be joking, any country has its own downsides...lol

Just a point, I'm not a big fan of Ovechkin, so don't care really. My favorites are Kharlamov and Gretzky.

@Zeppelin 80, I remember watching Ovechkin cry at the World Jr's like a little b*tch, its fun wathing him score less than a point a game (some superstar). You can keep all the talentless dueche bags back in your curruprt country. As for a north american player doing this, wouldn't happen we have to much honer and class in our countries.

Can't see anything to start fighting for. All he showed- he can hit the target, that's all. If in America or Canada they can't understand this, so they are a little gentle puppies. The hockey in Russia is diffrenet from hockey in North Amreica, so I'm glad it is. Maybe Anisimov not the best player, but I can't see anything wrong he did. I'm sure if canadian- american player did this, everybody would shut up. To much hassling for nothing.

Anisimov gets really excited when he scores and went overboard. He said he saw one of his teammates in Russia do that move so decided to try it. Whatever, he learned his lesson and we lost the game so everyone should just forget about it

@ MBB138 first of all, I'm Canadian, who actually understands hockey, not what you call a "dumb yank". Dumbass. Second of all, you really have no idea what your saying, hockey is an intense sport where both sides get fired up, and Ansimov went to far by showboating after a goal. Vinny and Downie were just doing what they've been taught to do since they were kids. Which is stick up for your teammates. So please just shut up when you don't know what your talking about.
