that's the thing. the game has been officially released here. It was released on the same date as in the US. Its just a bunch of bureaucracy that's keeping me from downloading the maps. But I don't really care anymore.

yeah man. Now I know. I was just too pissed off to accept that at the time. But the funny thing is that now Xbox LIVE has officialy been released here in Brazil and I still can't download any map pack. Is that bullshit or what?? 8)

@naal13 dude it your IP address (IP address had something to do with the internet location) that why you get that message the IP address is from Brazil Not From U.S

I can't download the map pack. My account is from the U.S. but I'm currently living in Brazil. When I try to download it, it says it's not available from my current location. I know LIVE isn't officially out in Brazil, but once again, my account is american, I created it when I was living in the U.S.A.
I bought my 360 in the U.S. also. Can someone please tell me what the hell is happening?

If LIVE is not officially out in Brazil then you will not be able to download it, It doesn't matter that the account was created in the US it is your current location stopping you from downloading it.
If any of that makes sense.

That doesn't make sense. You know why? Because if Xbox LIVE doesn't even exist in Brazil, how can they restrict it here seeing as it's impossible to create an account here.
Besides, I paid US$20 for my pre paid MP card and I don't see why I can't download the maps, seeing as I'm paying the same as everybody else. The download is via internet, so my current location doesn't matter, because they're not gonna ship anything here (cause that would be expensive and they would be losing money)

Yeah i know what your saying but if LIVE isn't official in Brazil it is because they have to get licensing for the game content ( They must do it for each country ) so if they don't do that the country's that are not officially supported cant download game content from Xbox LIVE.
