Tupac Actually wrote this song For MC Hammer as a Gift to him but then when Tupac signed with Death Row he recorded his version and used it as a single. But this is MC Hammers song. Originally.

this version is good, but when you heard 2pac version, it's a new experience. Pac's version makes you feel the emotion on the song, the emotion in his words, and that makes his version way better. Like Dear Mama,can any of you imagine this song in anyone's voice? PAC 4 LIFE

Pac's version was better in terms of delivery (cause it's Pac. Comparing Pac and Hammer as a rapper is like comparing a Maserati to a CRX without any tweaks), but the instrumentation and sequence was waaaay better on this and the singer's harmonies were much better on this. I wish they would let me do the mixdown on this song. I would kill the mixing and put Pac's version on it instead.
