That's why we have gun laws in it the UK. Yes, we still have very occasional problems with gun issues - the reason they are occasional is because those guns are illegally obtained, and not that easy to come by. And if you are caught with one you are nicked (and ideally imprisoned). The number of gun-related murders per head of population is a tiny fraction of that in the US. But go ahead and defend your right to bear arms. From this side of the Atlantic we just can't work out the logic ...

What if there were no government ~ no wars ~ no covert anything ~so subliminal programming, hypnosis ~ no testing chemicals on people, no denying people access to food,water, things they need what if we were all free to pursue our lives without FEAR, how joyful life may be? There may be things that are desirable to be gotten rid of in a civil society, but empowering a government to enforce the prohibition spawns even greater crimes.

I would like to see teenage pregnancy eliminated, but to allow a government to attempt it would be an utter disaster. I wish no one were addicted to narcotics, but we see the horrors of the drug war on top of the absolute inability of government to enforce (my preferred) morality.
