WOW 7.2 lbs. with fat maple! They dont make em like they used to. No select tonewoods, no artist grade private stock, just run of the mill (pun intended) planks and glue. Wonder why most of them were so light back then. Now days you need to pay 3200.00 for a custom shop that light. And maple typically is heavier than rosewood. Phil is the man!

@wiganlad2006 No he had a 58 after his 57 was stolen, i know because i am a diehard Holly fan, He got his Strats stolen twice, he replaced the 57 with the 58, Go to the buddy Holly center and look at the guitar there

A friend of mine Jim Holvay had a '58 Strat. It was the first one I played. I ended up with a 1960 Strat.
