Haller Park, in Mombasa, is an extensive, jungle-like environment where you can view animals - giant tortoises, monkeys, giraffes, hippos - I even saw a mongoose dashing about - and in the afternoon you can feed the giraffes and watch hippos emerge from a lake to be fed.
