What happened to the dark side of tthe moon ? 18 MARCH 2011

On the 14 of March 2011 there was a half moon directly above me at 6:10pm then on the 18 March 2011 the moon was full and barely above the horizon! How is that possible in 4 days to go from half to full moon?

instead I Will answer this question... its the same principle as an eclipse. depending or where you are in the world and at what time you view the moon you can see drastic changes in the moon like what you observed. over very short periods of time. there may not have been an eclipse but as a function of time of day and angle of observation the moon could appear differently in the day time sky than at night a few days later...

When the Moon is in the East, the 'Left' Side is toward the Earth.

When the Moon is in the West, the 'Right' Side is toward the Earth.

When it's High in the Sky, it's in-between. Did you Ever take Astronomy?!?

google "has the moons orbit changed?" the moon is out of its natural projected orbit which is odd because that would mean a force is acting on it.
