My dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few years ago and is now waiting for a heart transplant. He has 3 daughters and I am the oldest at 22, none of us married just yet. Recently he decided that he wanted to do a father-daughter dance with each of us just in case he may not get the chance at our weddings, and he chose this song. I have never before felt closer to my dad. The words are so beautifully written and sung by this group, I will carry this song in my heart forever.
