  • great job bro

  • @ailepata1 Thank you!

  • Hi Richard great documentary showing texture finishes, here in the UK we have a tool for creating those designs (almost similar anyway) it's called a stipple brush & it is square consisting of stiff rubber bristles which can be stomped, or dragged through the texture. Your work looks very professional indeed thanks for sharing your expertise. Regards Dale

  • @SpainFilmsProd Thank you for responding. If doing a solid texture, can color be added to the compound as one step instead of painting afterwards? You are such a joy to watch!

  • Nice tutorial, kick ass looking Skip!!!!

  • @boojiePooch im not quite sure what kind of texture he's doing. but what he said is pretty right on target. gotta take the acoustic ceiling off first. people use a water hose but i prefer to use one of my rigs to shoot the water on the ceiling. hose gets everything soaked. scrape popcorn, sand, float over nail pops and drywall seems with mud. pending on what kind of texture and how well you floated you may have to sand again b4 applying texture.
