In this video I'll show you a simple way to use Photoshop and Flash Catalyst CS5 to make a Flash rollover button to use in any Flash website you wish.

  • Thank a lot for your tutorial! I just install CS5 and don't know what Flash Catalyst is~I'm a graphic designer who don't know how to use Flash.....So now I can do a flash button in a simple way~! Thanks again! PS: I'm learning flash now but felt really difficult when go to the script part....

  • @lulugoh yeah, actionscript is pretty intense. I'm not a Flash designer by any means, or stretch of the imagination. I am simply a Graphic designer/web designer/front end developer. Flash Catalyst is great and simple for me and my lack of Flash skills, to be able to build and execute simple flash components.

  • after saving my group of images in PS and open it with catalyst, in the FC library theres no list of images in my homebutton group for some reason

  • @Shakin2012 hmm...did you try saving the images into a separate folder? (I know you have probably figured it out by now. Sorry for the long wait for response)

  • fantastic, thank you very much! I need to make a website for my university project, and i haven't gotten into flash before, although i have done web design. Can I integrate this button into Dreamweaver? I imagine so as they're both Adobe, but I have no experience in it, could you help? :)
