Mediacom Sucks!!!

Mediacom "provides" cable television, Internet and phone service. It is extremely unreliable. The phone service is the worst, with Internet being also very bad. Television probably isn't much better, but we don't watch the TV much.

Mediacom puts out lots of ads about how great their service is, but don't believe it for a second. It sucks!!!

Mediacom does suck and their tec's are neither personable nor professional. When I had Mediacom's Internet service and had issues a tec came out and when I answered the door and said how are you this morning? His reply was "Ahhh... The Internet" As if he couldn't even remember why he was sent out then he comes in and checks the modem all the while giving me a bunch of bullshit stories on what the issue was (none of which it turned out to be) then says "nope" I said nope what?...

I have the same thing going on here in East Moline, Illinois. I have phone and internet. Everyday the internet drops to .02 mbits down. Mediacom SUCKS and I can't wait for AT&T to run fiber optics in my area.

i agree, mediacom sucks. I had their internet and cable service. The internet shuts down 24/7 all the time, and with the cable, on demand wont even work half the time -.- . and when they come over to "fix" it ,the problem goes away for a few days then comes back as bad as ever. Even if they are the only alternative i would not waste the money on them.

been down 3 days. was told they'd have somebody here yesterday between 8-5. called @ 3:45, told to wait. called @ 5:15, told it may be 7. called @ 7:35, was told they tried to call me 3 times and i didnt answer. called Knology @ 7:45. its worth $242 to get away from this horrid company.

I have been held hostage by mediacom for about a year. It's our only choice in our new home. The installer was an idiot and did hundreds of dollars worth of damage. We had to hire someone wlese to finish the TV install in every room. I still have holes he drilled in our expensive floor about 13" from the wall the main TV is on. The TV works almost all the time.

This guy is absolutely right! I am at wits-end with this company. I have had 5 different techs over and they all say they will check on the problem and call back with an answer. Never do. No lie, I call in every 2 days complaining about it going out or being slow. I work from home so im thoroughly pissed

The worst part THEY WILL NOT LET YOU OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT. they say, just keep calling in and they will keep crediting the account.

Unfortunately, Mediacom is the only internet service provider.

Mediacom is horrid. If they had such great service they would not have to bombard us with ads about how good it is because we would all know.
