  • @UniversalTruths - Sorry to disappoint, but I'm a living, breathing example that the low-carb diet can be healthful. It's successfully cured me of 10-year struggle of Graves Disease - a thyroid disorder - in just two months.

  • @UniversalTruths Is this the DR G of 80-10-10?????????? Thanks.

  • @jaket2k8 Prove me wrong.

  • @adkpinecone no he's not, Gary Taubes is AMAZING x10

  • @UniversalTruths Ur retarded

  • i have a very simple question : can i eat porridge oats (made with water and fresh fruit and nuts) on a low carb diet ? i've always considered this the cornerstone of my diet, but can i include it on a low carb diet ?

  • grains cause leaky gut, which leads to chronic low grade inflammation, which basically leads to every chronic disease we know

  • @somethingblue2u Dr Neal Barnard is more AMAZING! :-)

  • @bloozedaddy Its true, after doing more research on those diets low carb makes more sense and you are right. Japanese eat mostly rice, which is the least offensive "grain" because technically it is a seed, they also eat tons of vegetables and very little bread. The French food philosophy is about fresh, limited processed, and quality ingredients, and when they do eat grains its covered in butter which slows blood sugar absorption and insulin release. Taubes appears more and more correct.
