IN THIS VIDEO; I'm trying to cover at least one vid to each track in the game. DK Summit is my all time favourite track, so its hard for me to drag here. Its pretty easy to own the race and then catch up to last place, but there is a trap zone here. IF someone is trying to out lose you they can avoid the cannon on the first lap and once you enter the cannon, they have already out lost you. The only solution to this situation is to disconnect. It has happened to me only twice since losing VR but it can happen.
Moonview is one of my other fav courses. Although there are cars and other obstacles all over the place, the lack of pits makes it really like a more advanced Luigi Circuit. The speed boosts also make it really easy to catch up to last if you ever need to. Running into cars/bombs is the equivalent of falling off of pits, or ramping from side to side as a method of killing time without fear of a DC.
N64 Mario Raceway is my 3rd fav course of all time! Again, lack of pits makes it a fun and easy loss for low VR seekers. This race has truly an awesome ending. I hold on to those last 2 reds for the entire race and right before the blue shell, I get rid of them thinking they were wasted. After scoring another red, i hit iggy, get a star, ram iggy, ram iggy AGAIN, and then the red i released before the blue shell, makes an entire lap around the track to give him one more kick in the ass for the road. Epic.
NOTE: This is in response to a email i got asking what the whole point of this series is.
". Basically the whole point of this 9 part series is to show you ways to lose all your VR, down to 1 VR, and still have fun. Its a long and tedious road and most people become discouraged or bored with the whole "losing VR" idea. You COULD just sit at the starting line of EVERY single race for about 2500 races to lose all your VR, or you could simply turn your Wii off every time you start a race. These are ways you can lose VR without racing.... which isn't very fun. If you read the description to the vids it explains more in detail what is going on in each video. It also points out people who you will run into along the way that will try to slow you down or interfere with your low VR losing skills. And points out "tips and tricks" at handling these and other various situations you run into while losing VR =)"

Quick question, if you know the answer. If you were racing against 3 9999ers, and you had 2 VR, and came last, would you lose one or lose zero?

its either 1 or 0 i can't remember. I do know that if you are in a room with 9999ers then its probably best to just dc. You're going to want to get in races with as many noobs as possible so you can work that vr down quicker. Evern 6000VR players are considered elite when you're trying to lose VR
