I suppose its just easier to agree with Parker, then defend something that is unusual or different. If you lived in Europe and studied wines here you would have a different opinion.

Ok, you find a wild violet in a rustic field - and you hold it up next to a prize winning rose in a garden. Which one is better?
Parker and his fat mouth would say the Rose! Because its a Rose and not a violet, secondly its grown in a garden, and was taken care of by a gardener instead of mother nature.
He has no poetry, can only appreciate vulgarised fruity barrique aged wines. Anything outside of those parameters just falls by the wayside.
