i was in a wreck 2 days after your wreck on hwy 80 my gf's mom died , my gf broke her left femur and her sister walked out with barely any scratches and i was on life support for three days and i walked out of the hospital in six pretty crazy with both live in the same town too
that's crazy... i remember when i got out of the hospital from my accident, one of my family members was confusing your accident with mine. they were telling me that someone died and another person was on life support (they saw it on the news) and I was going insane with worry, thinking that my life was over cause I new the wreck was my fault and that i would be charged with manslaughter/negligence if my aunt was right... small world to say the least, brother! glad you made it through!
Yeah... it definitely sucks. lol. I was in the red toyota highlander. (I think thats what it was, it was a rental) Luckily, it was built like a damn tank, and it had side curtain airbags, really strong body, etc... It was super nice too. It had the reverse camera feature, leather seats with electronic lumbar adj, and everything! The worst part about it was my insurance apparently lapsed for about 2 weeks (long story) so now I'm in the hole for 25K+ (at least) my fault though.
Yes,I'm O.K. Thanks. It could have been much, much worse. I must have had the worst luck of my life on that day, cause not only was my insurance lapsed, (which never happens) but I also wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and I ALWAYS wear a seatbelt. I wear them like religion usually. But yeah, I managed to make it out with lots of glass embedded in me all over, a really sore neck, and a shoulder so swollen I looked like a hunch back. I was out cold for about 30 secs after it happened.
