John Brookfield is legend when it comes to grip strength and other amazing displays of strength...both physical and mental. Check out how he coils this 9/16th inch steel rod so tight, that he can fit it into a small postal box. Crazy strong!
@sjcali57 - so, you prefer shiny muscley handsome young men over the ridiculous feats that this guy has pulled off over the years? That's your prerogative. Note that we are talking about the ability to perform awesome feats of strength, not sex appeal. Again: You do it. Hell, no one else can do this. That's the whole point.
@pharmswede Uh, unless you're watching a different video he is definitely not using just grip to do this. Go to 5:06 and look at how he's doing it. His foot is on the bar and he is laterally shifting his body to bend the bar. Then at 8:16 the bar is too short to use his foot, and big surprise- he can't bend it any more. If it was just grip he would have been able to bend that last part. And John Brookfield's titties, seen at 3:42 and general physique don't sell me on his training. STFU
@sjcali57 if you're anticipating using your foot as a fulcrum and pulling with your back, that is what you kids call doing it wrong.
I just want to use you as an example here though to contrast how amazing John Brookfield is. To be the best in the world at so many things through lifelong training and discipline, while a moron sits on his butt thinking of gay-panic insults about it, truly sets up stark contrasting examples in how to be somebody, and how to be nobody.
@pharmswede If I didn't want to get better at any sport and wanted to just waste my time I would start doing this as a workout. The other reason I would start a steel bending workout would be if I wanted to blow a lot of dudes, because this seems to prepare someone really well to do that.
The gay boy trying to get attention for himself wasted almost 4 min of my life, and the rest of this stupid video would have wasted almost 10 min of my life if i hadn't gone to the end of the video to see that his grip has nothing to do with bending the bar, it's his use of his foot as a fulcrum and pulling with his back to bend it.
John Brookfield is phenomenal. Outstanding!
