Well, in my eyes, it's how the dog was raised. If as a puppy it was encouredeged to fight, then it will become a mean dog, but if it was cared for and loved, it will be a loyal companion. I really don't see why we're so hard on some dog breeds, when most breeds could end up the same why.

Agreed, Any breed can be trained to fight, But a group of people picked Pits for it. So Now most of Society sees them as a bad mean breed of dog. Dogs are not born mean, they are made mean

Ya its from a Dvd i got called "off the chain" its a really good movie. but it gots some stuff in it thats very hard to watch. But i thought this was a good part of it. So i cut it out of the movie so other people could see it :)

Great video! I have a bull mastif,not a pit bull, but looking to buy a pitbull! Bull mastifs are made out to be "Huge maulers" since mine weighs 150. But it NEVER mauled anyone, it even saved me from the neighbour's dog! If a dog has the name "Bull" in it, its sold. :P Pit bull, then ill buy an all american bull dog.

Oh ya ? mastiff are awesome. Iv really wanted one of them for a long time. But have never seen anyone in my area selling them. I saw one guy walking one a while back ago. and asked him where he got. and he drove like 100 mils out of town to some guy who breeds them. He offered to give me the guys email address too see if he had any new pups for sale. But i told him it was too far for me to go. Im happy tho. cuz since i did not have a dog. i was able to save bear from a bad home.

@surleyguru I his defence, there is a well documented history for the creation of pitbulls in the UK, maybe he just read it. their breeding, purpose and export to the USA with dogs such as Lloys Pilot etc. May be a good option for you too!

Pitbulls came from UK and Ireland....simple as! get used to it.

If you think by putting 'American' in front of the name makes a difference,or saying 'it became America's dog'

I like this video, some others took offence at me pointing out the fact this is an English breed taken to the USA by Irish and English immigrants, therefore it should never be referred to or called American Pitbull, I made the comment to another video and it pissed off a few people, not that I care, I can't get why anyone lays claim to a breed they did not originally breed, in the USA they now call the Japanese Akita - American Akita, whats next, American Sheperds?

I agree with you,i have a 1 year old blue nose pitbull,and shes the best dog ever shes soo smart shes soo athletic,shes never attacked any dog or human,and we have a 5 year old in our home.she plays well,shes a lil strong 4 her own good and can be a pain when we walk her cuz she pulls alot,but besides that shes wonderful.shes my work out buddy,we go running every morning at our park and she loves the exercise,she can play basketball and football especially soccer.i swear!!
