It's very unfortunate that it won't work with the iPhone 4. :(

Now this is about to go into 1000 views, (second to go further than 1000) I want to explain more. So I will. I understand if this doesn't work, I used an iPhone 3G (outdated by 3 years) running iOS 4.0 (5.0 latest, 4.2 latest for iPhone 3G, then discontinued, unjailbroken at the time of this video.) Anyway, I was playing around with pairing my iPhone with my Mac. When I paired, I got into my iPhone settings, and found it unlocked. So, I made this video. Try it on iOS 5 and tell me how it goes.

@AustinApocalypse What version are you running? If it's 4.0 it should work. Anything above I can't guarantee. You know, if you can afford it, you could pay your carrier. Of course, I wouldn't do that myself, but seeming as you have no choice, it may be worth it.

@AustinApocalypse No, sorry, but I'll give you a tutorial in text by a YouTube personal message since you requested.

Hello! Great tutorial! I love it! I'm wondering does this still work? And are you sure this is free? Have you been charged for anything yet?

@AustinApocalypse As far as I know, this works on an iPhone 3G running iOS 4.0, but I have no idea if it works on anything else. I am sure this is free. I also found out it works on iPod touch and iPad (of course to, not from). I haven't been charged.

@technoguy720 Oh. Hmmm, I have the iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1. I'll try it later to see if it'll work. Thanks a lot!

@AustinApocalypse No worries! If you have an iPad or iPod touch running 5.0 you can tether your iPhone to it!!! I use it to get 3G on my iPod (sadly no FaceTime =( but everything else works).
