this is one of my favourite songs. I miss cambodia very very much. Wonderful people! I just wish that during the reign of the khmer rouge that we didnt turn our backs from all the Uxo's planted there. I walked through too many places in cambodia with people who were maimed by landmines. My heart will always belong to the people of cambodia

this song is really good in Khmer. What's more, its sad in the context that the original 1967 song written by Joni Mitchell and performed by Judy Collins must have been in the heyday for once great cities like Phnom Penh... kind of makes you imagine it when it was a modern 'westernized' city before Pol Pot's year zero.

I like khmer version more than Joni Mitchell's original. May be because I heard khmer version first. To me original version sounds odd ;-)

I never liked this song until I heard this recording at the end of the movie. It's so much more interesting with her singing than anyone else and now I love this song so much I listen to it everyday and never get tired of it.

@nisa121010...Thanks and likewise :) Yeah I started noticing while looking up some other Khmer songs that some of the ones I put up from the City of Ghosts soundtrack are showing up on the suggestons sidebar. I was happy to see that. I know just what you mean about seeing a picture on the song that isnt so appealing in one way or another, sometimes its like I'd just rather see a black screen than the picture they put up. And you're right it IS hard to search for khmer songs!!
