LOL! wow, I'm a transgender female, and my life is, seriously, incredible. I can see so much beauty and magic in this world, even with all this insane religious crap trying to stamp it all out. I truly believe that my struggles, which have been minimal, have only aided my ability to better enjoy my life. I love my life, I love who I am as a person, and honestly, I love these poor, confused people who love to hate me. It's a beautiful world, come back to it people!

Been hilariously un-miserable with my partner for 5 years now.

@inquiry10 Good for you! That "miserable homosexual lifestyle" is BULLSHIT! I know a lot of homosexuals and homosexual couples who live wonderful, HAPPY lives!
-
@CanyonTide You are so full of happy go lucky fake Christian nonsense. Clearly you have no understanding of human sexuality. Gay men can't change their sexual thoughts the same as gay animals can't. I hope you are lurking for an angry response and you don't actually believe such silly statements.

I think my psychology professor put it really well with the mental health problems; its not being gay its living with straight people that causes the problems. (of course by living with straight people it was in reference to the homophobia, etc. that goes on)

yeah really...i am in a binational relationship and have to freaking choose between my country and the woman i love because immigration law is on a federal level and gay marriage on the state level. with so many same-sex families being broken apart who wouldnt have mental problems? he spoke as if all the suicide attempts and depression were a result of being gay period, instead of from unfair treatment (such as not being able to sponsor my girlfriend even if we got married). ugh

nobody is born gay for starters and second...being gay is a sin with making your life being crap

A life of misery?
wow these people are insane. i am so thrilled to be born gay and I would not want it any other way.
Of course gay people have problems...if they were rejected by their families , their religion taught the negative wrong messages about gays and that "god" will reject them, society is influenced by evil religious messages about gays leading to violence harassment and setting up laws to deny gays rights. All of those things can fuck up a person. If a gay person has positive messages and surroundings then they grow up just fine.

I have to commend you for attending the exodus meeting. I'm sure it can also be a drain to listen to such negativity for a lengthly duration like that. I was also thinking the other day how people living out the "ex-gay" lifestyle still get branded with a title that includes gay. Having dealt with that when I was younger it seemed oppressive to me to be associated with anything other than loving myself without condition. Anyways, I send much love, Ryan.
