  • "Mad Dog and Artie," maybe after Stern retires.....

  • I would not be opposed to that! Good job outta you.

  • LMFAO I hate Mike & the Mad Dog

  • Too bad for you.

  • I'm stunned...Stern thinks the guy coming to Siriis is better...shocking

  • Is it shocking? I find Russo to be the more polarizing personality. I would hope most people feel the same.

  • @shipredraider LMAO, and that's the reason why no one knows about Russo anymore. Mike Francesa is still popular in NY, no one is buying Sirius Radio to listen to the "Mad Dog".

  • Mad dog sounds like Joan Rivers.

  • Mike was a total gentleman to have Mad Dog back on the show after he left. It was actually a cool moment on live radio.

  • Chris Russo was good when you wanted to hear about the The SF Giants, Red Sox, and Roger Federer ... If you listen to Mike .. you get the Mets, Yankees (ppl need to give it a break, Francesa has been to more mets games this yr then yanks nd talks about them more so far) knicks, and now nets, giants and jets, and neither ever covered hockey much. Francesa is just way smarter then Mad Dog in the area ...

  • They really do. Artie...eck...

  • Why is Stern acting like he wouldn't cry in a similar spot too?

  • I agree with you which is why he wants/needs to have a sidekick.

  • You must be a Yankee fan.

  • of course Chris/Maddog cried, it couldn't have been a easy move to make after so much success. if Chris hadn't been emotional i would have felt that it was phony. the one thing about Howard Stern and co. is that they are indifferent to any real emotion. all they do is make fun of anyone and anything. Mike and Maddog was extremely popular national thanks too YES network. but in the case of the moment Howard was right Mike did stop Chris with a special moment getting emotional.

  • Good job Howard, you're going to judge a nineteen year radio show on a couple of minutes.

Now I don't claim to have seen every Mike and the Mad Dog broadcast on the Yes Network, but I have never seen them not look at each other for the whole show. Gary and Artie sound like two high school girls gossiping in the bathroom.
