MUSIC: "My Love (Radio Edit)" by Airscape & Jes

Hi everyone! I was playing with my Copic markers and thought I'd do a vid since I was making some cards. :-) I love my new TGF stamp "Stella." It's not a "new" stamp, but its new to my collection and she is just adorable! In this vid, I show you how I color and blend with Copic markers. At the end, I'll show you how to use your colorless blender to correct mistakes, even on areas you've already colored like skin. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching!

  • Hey Arlene!! Quick question for you, I have copics and TGF stamps now, however my question is what ink are you using to stamp your image?? Even when I let my ink dry the colors(especially the light colors for the skin) are bleeding into the black stamped image giving it an awful look. Please help if you can. What do you use??

  • @Shunsi221977 You can use Archival ink or Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I personally use the Memento ink. Do not use StazOn or other inks... you will ruin the nibs on your copics and will need to replace them. :-( Hope this helps!

  • @KATTRACK51 thanks!!!!

  • love it, so cute!

Quick question, how do you feel about the digital images from The Greeting Farm?

I printed the Copic marker chart on my good paper but when I filled in the few spots that I do have (hehe) it blended with several of my markers colors...any advice from the Copic Master! Hugs, Amy

  • @amycolemanrn Love TGF digital images, although I'm not really into those Chibi images so much. Lovin' Anya & Ian and also the CC line. :-) Definitely wait several hours before using your Copic markers on printed images (like the Copic color chart.) Some printer ink cartridges take longer to dry for some reason and can cause the ink to bleed if not completely dry. :-(

  • Arlene I have to tell you that I used a copic marker for the first time yesterday and I FELL IN LOVE!! I am one of those girls who say "What's so great about Copics that they cost and arm and a leg"? Well, NOW I KNOW!! They are so simple, beautiful, and really really really are worth the cost.

  • Oops! Sorry:). I just found you on YouTube recently. I do have a few questions for you, if you don't mind. Do you wait for the Copics to dry before going back with the colorless marker? And what is the difference between the Sketch markers and the other Copic marker you used? Thanks!
