  • Hey Ray,

I just noticed the UP logos on you train covers on the shelf! Nice Touch. "You a UP fan?" Nah....

  • Hello Ray,

I really like that setup! Who does the MTH conversion? I just purchased a J1e from the guys at USA Trains at the East Coast Large Scale Show on Sept. 24th. It has some time on it but you would never know, it looks and runs Great! The smoke is the only disappointing factor. I was thinking about the custom setup from "qora01m"! Good thing I read his comment here, otherwise I'd be roasting marshmallows! I would appreciate any info you can send me. Keep it up, this is beautiful stuff!

  • MTH FTW!

  • @rayman4449 LOL ... "Prime Rib time buddy" !! Thankyou Ray. :-)

  • @qora01m Hi there, WHEW! Glad it didn't result in any damage! Let me know how you make out on the Harbor Models smoke generator.. I have seen it before, I just wasn't sure how the resin casing would hold up. Good luck and keep me posted.

  • Hi Raymond, I'm about to try a harbour models smoke generator. Maybe that's a solution for you as well? By the way my custom made one burned 2 days ago! Something I always feared because of its extreme heat. But no damage to the loco luckily! But the seconds before the smoke turned into a 5 inch flame the smoke output was phenomenal.
