it shouldnt be an effort to hold your self with the right hand. use the leg to grip as well and both combos should hold you there... also it may take some time to get use to holding it with one hand as its scary at first

@sephyhot - try popping your body up more when you V up to hook your leg. If your leg is on top of your hand it's harder.

I wouldn't attempt this trick without high stretch silks and all the same variables as shown. If I did this on regular no / low stretch silks, I'd start a fall that would not stop itself. you have to hold the dead end. there are other precations to observe with the glisse as well, like not letting the loop go over your shoulder or head while falling!

im having trouble holding on w/o slipping. do you reach up and hold the silk by your leg and have your elbow on your side to get leverage or something? i think im using brute strength to hold myself up and its not working. & does hving your right leg holding the silk rly tight help as well?
