I'll have to trawl back through all the videos I watched, it might take me a few days to find them, I'll send them to you when I do
Of course you'd be wary of the former trainers, but she wasn't sacked she left on her own terms, and i it makes sense bacuse they spend so much time at the surface and in shallow water.
They orcas that have eye problems include Corky II, Ulises, Orky II. Ive also noticed Takara has problems seeing trainers when they stand to her left.
@Orcaplanet Lol! Yes I always find that annoying, but Sea World does that a lot with these podcasts and during the shows. DWS and stuff, they use the real names. "Shamu, shamu!" I'm like "Noooo, Corky." =P
@LightBlueFuture Now I am a person who gets annoyed at seeing a flood of debates on video comments. Lol. So if you DO wish to continue, I ask that you message me. However, I've really nothing more to say...er, I don't desire to say anything else, rather. But I'm not going to be a jerk, so if you do message me I'll answer questions/respond. I won't continue it here though, because I don't want to flood the comments.
@LightBlueFuture I feel like you are getting this information from extreme anti-aquarium sources. I've heard the same things from The Orca Project. It's just not something I'm prepared to all of the sudden believe just because a former trainer/trainers, most of whom were likely fired, says so. Afterall, you are not so quick to believe what any regular to the park would say, are you? I understand your passion, but I really urge you to look into this particular sunburn situation more.
@hateseaworld What is this recent video? Orcas also shed skin. And this appears as white patches, mostly on their melon, pectorals, and backs. You see it a lot on Trua and Nakai, and other younger whales. But adults shed skin too. It is also easier to see this under the water, rather than out I've noticed. I have seen recent pictures and footage of these whales. They don't have sunburn. And I'm VERY iffy about believing former trainers. Which orcas have eye problems?
