  • so your body weight pulls the bar against the wall and the door frame......which can eventually break the top of the door frame??

  • @KaiserTheEmperor yeah i'll tell you what i did with mine. i looked at it, tried to shove it in between the frame through the paint... then i looked at it again carefully- and placing it between my index finger and thumb, jerked my wrist quickly forward and let it go. let it slip out of your hand fluidly and through the air at the direction of a garbage can or recycling bin.

  • Bought this unfortunatly it doesnt work on my door frames 😡 nice video though

  • @DarthRane113 Realised that was not a very good explanation.

Go to the side of the door frame you are going to hang the pullupbar on, place the wedge arrow end into the door frame once have done that you will realise it makes kind of like a pocket on the frame that you can place the pullup bar into so that you have even more security to prevent it slipping off.

  • @KaiserTheEmperor put the arrow side down into the doorframe side that you hang it on and then place the pull up bar in it, it's essentially a wedge to help even more with preventing it coming off the frame.

  • @Anonymous2335 you can get frameless door hiinges for it at just the cost of shipping and handling there is a little slip that comes in the box I just got it 2 days ago.

  • Just an FYI to anyone that cares. I weigh 255 and do very strict chins. My door frame trim snapped into pieces on my second set on my third rep. I wouldn't recommend this for big dudes. Sub 220 for sure.

  • guy talks like bill burr. kind of looks like him too

  • The top of my door frame doesn't protrude out of the wall like that... Which means no pull up bar for me. Lol.

  • @brandonm1392 No, it wont, you will get no scratches!!

  • @hcarvalhoalves I thought so as well before I got this, This is much better since you dont have to stand in the middle of the doorway!

  • @bedtimewitheliot mine flexes just a short sec down to the point where its steady. It needs your weight in order to keep it firm. Mine doesnt flex as much as this though. I weigh about 86 kg right now. It does hold 100 KG but its not recommended and I tried to put on some extra kg while doing this and the thing got shaky. 86-90 KG? this thing is for you
