  • @DerangedRanger1 I have not been able to find a copy of the book to verify this, but Wikipedia claims that there is actually a scripted ending for the piece, with the performers pulling the cords from the amplifiers after the microphones have come to rest. I don't disagree with you though that the the editor has also provided a (different) ending.

  • @xXBigBonsaiXx Experimental music is still music.

  • I see some complaints that the ending of the piece is not included. I The ending has been provided by the video editor, however pre-mature you see it. If you use your imagination, you can see what would have happened next: the microphones would slowed down to a halt and when they did, you would have heard constant feedback. This feedback would never end. If the power were to go out, would that be the ending? I think it would be a rest because when the power returns, so does the sound.

  • it's like physics music! it's awesome!

  • an interesting concept. each pendulum on it's own keeps its rhythm(not counting the air drag), but the different deflection, and the different swing speeds.

  • @xXBigBonsaiXx

you cant define what noise is. it depends on what you are trying to study. This is music. it is minimalistic. and that is the point of this kind of musicit is really incredible if you come to think of that he os using different tempo to create phase cancelation of just a pulse tone :)

  • that blows my mind!!!!!!

  • is that what i think? is one hand always playing the same but because of the other hand different tempo creates a phase cancellation?

    simply mind blowing.

  • oh man!

that's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. love it. so great. so impressive. this track helps me.

  • Fuck the shit... sry but this is not music at all! it is more a kind of an art but not MUSIC (as music means more than noise)

i expected way better music by steve reich... honestly!
