1980 NHL All Star Game in Detroit, MI. Here is a shift with Mike Bossy and Bryan Trottier working it down low. No goals for these guys though as the Wales won 6-3 over the Campbell.

  • no helmets

  • this is an actual all star game.

Not the cheese they call all star games now.

  • One word: "Trottier"!

  • I miss the conference names and the stark white boards.

  • You kidding me? That was target practice for those two. If it was a real game the puck would of been in off the rebound!

  • intense pressure

  • Dan Kelly = The best. I can still hear him on a call, "Bossy the shot. Edwards the save! The rebound!! OH, and he stopped that, too!!!"

Once he said about a goalie who wasn't that good but was playing out his ass that night against St.L., "He made a save on a shot he never saw, and never knew he made."

  • love the nets

  • Don Edwards was a terrific goalie for the Sabres. No helmets on Trotts and Bossy!
