If for no other reason, this is why you should pick up Return of Dark Side of the Moon. For me it's the highlight of the disc, as it's everything a good cover should be.
The swapping of the soul vocal solo for a guitar gives the song a Wish You Were Here Flavor, and that album is my favorite of the latter half of their career anyway. Then we get a Burt Bacharach "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid" in the vocals, and then full-on George Martin right before a Shine On You Crazy Diamond fadeout.
