This updated video offers hand motions to each letter and subject matter. This helps the child get active and do some movement with each new letter. This is just another way a child will become familiar with the letter sounds.

  • This video was never meant to be done to show official signing because our product is a listening product not geared for the deaf. The signs are made for the shapes or movements of the artwork that goes with each letter. This helps the child decode the English language better. I have proven the value of this in the classroom as I use it with my students each day. They love to get up and sing the song and make the movements as they sing. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • Thankyou, Its nice to hear from experienced people. what else can I teach him at this stage. He says few words, can u upload videos so that he can learn more words.

  • we have quite a few videos that help language development, opposites, counting skills on my youtube site. Just check them out. It is very important for your child to not only get the visual stimulation that is available with videos, but also the auditory skills by playing cds at nap and bedtime. Check out my website for options. I have several very cost effective packages available. Remember...your child loves repetition at this time in his life and that is more important than variety.

  • My son is 1.5 years and he loves this video, if the actual letter sound is also there it would be great. He knows the sounds but not the actual letter.

  • Thank you for your input. My video was created to teach the phonetic sounds of the letter, not the name of it. Naming the letter for your 1.5 year old would confuse him. I have done years of testing on this. The important thing is for him to learn the sound, not the name. He will learn that in proper time!

  • We love the updated version! :-)

  • Thank you for your input. The movement signs done by the young girl helps the child move around while learning their letter sounds. My students love to do the movements, so thought I would put it on the video. Am looking for input, so thank you!

  • My daughter loves this song. My only issue with it is that the motions are not the actual signs for the words.
