  • Not bad vid..pretty good. More realism is that the Brits usually flew in "V" formation, just 3 planes and that was a tactical mistake unlike the Germans 4 plane squads, which allowed each plane a wingman. Also, early Spits had carbs and engine sputtered when upside down. The 109s had fuel injection and beating the Spits until they put injection into them. The 109s were better at diving and that was their salvation most of the time.

  • Thank you for comment. You study much history. You are a historian.

However, is not there sense of incongruity when spitfire of traditional V formation repulses Bf109 of finger4?

RAF that this learned finger4 in the latter period repulses Bf109. You may think with such a setting. Make the sun a back, besides.

  • @martynrobin121 both hurricane and spitfire are icons hurricane could absorb more damage and was a stable gun platform and could land on a field or concrete weras a spitfire was more fussy its undercarriage was more delicate it was a more temperamental plane and the hurricane shot down more planes than the spitfire its horses for courses and all history we must not forget

  • @Wales223 thats true but spit fires had some atvantages to like the could fly faster and turn quicker and they were equiped with eight .303 browning machine-guns

  • @jackfoster911 great video man! my grandfather flew ME 109s for the Luftwaffe during the battle of britain and was shot down and captured by the British till the end of the war, the stories are very interesting!

btw can you tell me the name of the song that starts at 0:48?

  • Great and long work, congratulations!

Probably real planes were kept in great care and didnt fly with such scraps as you have in the texture...

  • The Spit markings are all the same in this vid and the roundals are wrong ? Being picky ;-)

  • Nobody can say anything bad about the Spitfire, It saved Britain from invasion and proved to be our greatest fighter Air-Craft early in the war. Without the Spitfire i dont think the Hurricane would have won the Battle of Britain(Biggest Air-battle in history)

  • @1339LARS D-day.
