  • Those smart police uniforms of the 60s were not stab proof!!! And police officers now have to carry soooo much equipment. And, yes, they need Hi-Viz, so the ........ which run them over can't say they didn't see the officer as a defence. They are aware the uniforms are not smart, so it must be doubly frustrating having to "escort" some of the smartest soldiers in the world.

  • @lirbugler Cleared ALOT up thank you.

  • @Drpepperman1885 The man marching behind the Drum major is the Director of Music, the Officer in overall charge of the band. The man with the Sword is the Officer in charge of the Guard. As these two are officers they typically have a slightly more ornate uniform than the other ranks such as the larger Bearskin Cap (Guards Officer) and Busby&Plume (RA DofM). The Red sashes are worn by Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (Sergeants and above). Hope this helps

  • So I hope someone can maybe help me on this. the guy in the front of the band is of course the drum major. Who is the guy right behind him with the baton and white plume? As for the gaurd detail, who is the guy with the sword? and who are the men with the red sashes across thier bodies? if anyone can answer this itd help with my confusion haha thank you.

  • It would be nice if the police lady at least stepped in time, her slovenly walk says not interested in contrast with this splendid band.

  • @TheLunaticLuke

yah I do wish our police worse some more pleasing to the eye uniforms. the buttoned black jackets of the 60s and 70s were nice enough. I guess health and safety nonces had a hand in the viz jackets.

  • it seems a shame that the image of this parade has been ruined by the Hi-Vis jackets of the police... i wish people had much more respect for what the men and women of the military actually do rather than creating a scare...

  • Great video but the more I look at the end the more I realise how ugly the barracks are. Who the hell designed them? Presumably the same blind muppets who designed those hideous 1960s tower blocks. I now understand why people say that the people who designed them should live in them. I bet they would come up with something a damn sight better if they knew THEY had to live there. I mean.. I could do better than that after 15 pints and that's saying something.

  • @chugalug7392 Hey thanks a lot matey will be able to get that on disk now and drill myself round me pattio hehe.

  • @SuperBettyswollocks

Hi, it's Arnhem by A.E.Kelly. A moving tribute to duty and sacrifice.
