4 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS is the story of, Mike (40's), a Chicago dental technician who takes his wife, Rosa (40's), and three kids, Christina (19), Junior (15), and Gabby (6), on a journey across the Midwest to Mexico to see his father who has fallen ill. To get there he is obligated to follow his pregnant sister, Maggie (30's), and annoying Jewish brother-in-law, Ben (30's), who claims to be 25% Mexican. Along the way they encounter numerous obstacles including a racist Texas state trooper, a hostile border town bar, and having to cross the border illegally to get into Mexico. As they race across the country they become closer as a family while trying to make it in time to see Grandpa for what could be his last Christmas.
Comedy shows just how easy it is for cops to abuse power, in any situation, many act like that, ready to shoot you at the drop of a hat.
