Phelan Familiy Picnic 2011

What a spectacular time we had at our new/old digs at Grant Park. The consensus is we are going to have to do this again next year!

Thanks to all who could make it. And though we didn't get to re-create that famous family photo taken on Sled Hill eons ago, perhaps we set a precedent that those who come after us may choose to follow - or not.

The Bradley Clan and Jamestown contingent were made even more present by their absence - if that makes sense to anyone else but me. Our thoughts are with them always, and our prayers storm heaven's gate for their intentions.

Stay tuned for some SHOCKING scenes from the cutting room floor...

...well, not really SHOCKING, but maybe fun to watch...

I guess I need to add that no animals were harmed during the making of this film - though a few turtles and fish were badly shaken up, by their stringent standards, not ours.
