Moderator Ilja Richter spielt auf die Hochzeit von Silvia Sommerlath mit dem schwedischen König im gleichen Jahr an. Der Titel wurde am 18. Juni anlässlich einer Gala am Vortag der Hochzeit im schwedischen Fernsehen zum ersten Mal dargeboten.

The presenter Ilja Richter alludes to the marriage of the Swedish king Carl Gustav and Silvia Sommerlath, the song was primarily performed on June 18, 1976 at a gala one day before the wedding.

The German audience look completely bored and un-impressed, maybe they couldn't understand the language or would prefer to watch football !

Thank you for the text intrusion between 1:32 and 1:54 that ruined this wonderful performance of Abba on German television - from 6 Nov, 1976.

The address overlay was in the original broadcast! - The spectators of 1976 could ask for an autograph by writing at the address displayed during each performance. (A service many fans appreciated at the time, long before SMS and internet.)
