Cover version of the song Partisan performed by me. The song was written in 1943 in London by Anna Marly and Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie. It has been adapted to English lyrics by Hy Zaret. Made popular by Leonard Cohen (in 1969)

I could care less for DNA, but rather the piles and piles of serbian bodies we've heaped over the years since the Balkan Wars of the 1910s. There is less than 3 million of us and over 10 million of you scum, and yet you lost every war since 1911 and we're still catching your leadership and having them tried for war crimes.

The Yugoslav partisans were surging around sept 1944, rising to a force of 800,000 by Jan '45 as the Axis troops were pulled out of Greece in Sept '44. Axis were threatened by USSR forces who recently at that time took Belgrade, they didnt want to be cut off, hence they started a mass pull out, followed by their Cetnik and Ustasa counterparts. And altough the Ustasa stuck to their colors, most of the Cetniks defected to the Serb dominated partisans (explaining the Jan'45 figure)
