Ballet in 3 Acts for Symphonic Band and Dancers. Act III, Scene I: Dance of the Perverted Love and Lust. The complete ballet is published by RBC Publications, San Antonio, Texas. The performances presented here are in Xalapa, Veracruz and Veracruz, Veracruz (Mexico). The complete ballet is presented on YouTube as well as many other works by composer Leroy Osmon. This ballet is drawn from the painting The Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch and was first conducted by Capitan Cesar Amora with the Banda Sinfonica del Gobierno del Estado of Veracruz (Ruben Flores, director at the time of performance). Funding for this was made possible, in part, by the American Music Center (NY, NY). The company performing this work is Vera-Danza (Jorge Luis Ortiz, director). Lead dancer is Jerika Brito Sosa.

  • Still one of the all time great experiences of my life 20 years later

    ...I was mesmerized!!

  • @MrJaxtall Thank you for taking the time to watch/listen to my music. Please explain what your experiences 20 years ago were... if you do not mind. This work was composed and first performed in Xalapa, Veracruz. Did you perform in my ballet A Sea of Seven Color - some 20 years ago? Just wondering.

    Thanks! Leroy Osmon/composer

  • Wow! The music alone is great, but what really puts this performance over the top is the fact that the choreography is also outstanding. This is one of those rare moments in ballet where the choreography and dance style seem to perfectly match the outstanding music.
