Tesla Roadster Accelerating on the Autobahn Full Throttle

First Tesla I've seen out on the road... and I had the chance to watch it accelerate onto the Autobahn A94 her in Munich. September 29, 2010

I got a ride in one. They pull almost as hard as a full track spec superbike. I got a chuckle watching the Tesla get smaller, really, really fast.

@minus5m You're right it is a smart, yes the Tesla will do 200 kph top speed. Having driven the Tesla I can say that it's a fun drive but a little slow at the top end. Mind you sitting so low to the ground makes it feel a whole lot faster.

Is that a Mini chasing the Tesla? The Tesla tops out at 120mph so eventually the mini would win. Not on acceleration though.
