  • What do you think about buying 90% silver coins as an investment? and what is the best way to buy?

  • @pipefitters1 90 percent junk silver US pre-1965 dimes, quarters, and halves are an excellent investment! If you're buying $5 or $10 face value at a time you can use eBay. Check Coinflation and use their calculator to determine how much you should bid. Usually no more than 5 percent over the melt price. If you're in a hurry to buy large amounts check Apmex or Gainesville Coins. Avoid silver dollars if not an expert. The Chinese are counterfeiting these things & flooding the US.

  • rick, could i sell my gold or silver to a dealer i didn`t buy it from? and what does ms-70 grade mean?

  • @pipefitters1 Any dealer in precious metals will be glad to purchase your gold or silver if it's in coin or round form. If we're talking silverware, some will be interested and others will pass. MS-70 is a grade that represents a PERFECT Uncirculated coin.

  • @rickpyle1 Year there is definitely trouble, I'v actually decided to buy some silver bullion. But if you live in the USA, property is cheap. In Australia $300,000 for a house is cheap, In america you can get a better house for $70,000. Germany also has cheap property, china is a rip off $900,000 for a 2 bed droom unit.

  • @adrianwillis360 I could write of reams of pages writing a rebuttal to your bearish PM statement. I could site the historic deficts in US and Western nations, the impending fiat money collapse, and progressively worsening inflation as reasons against future falling PM prices. However, you seem quite closed on the topic. I wonder what you're doing watching my videos? Aren't there enough stock investment videos to screen?

  • @rickpyle1 all thess metals will decrease in value as the economy improves, metals always go up when there is a resesion just look what happend after the last resesion gold whent down, alot. In five years from now gold will be about $400 an oz silver $15. now is the time to sell and 2000 to 2005 was the time to buy. buffet dose not have gold, and he is the best invester there is. invest in sony or some thing a like. mabe property.

  • @rickpyle1 not to mention eagles are legal tender and maple leafs are not.

  • @pipefitters1 Keep in mind that the price of either Canadian or American silver and gold coins fluctuate based on the relative worth of the USD vs. the Canadian Dollar. As an American I don't see any problem with someone who wants to own some Canadian Maple Leafs. They're pretty, have English, and are shown in ounces not metric. Americans are probably the most familiar with Canada than they are with any other foreign country. However, I still thinks it's best to hold Eagles if US.

  • Rick, why are canadian gold and silver coins cheaper than american, if they weigh the same? i was told american gold was 91.67 pure and canadian was .999. if this is true, why is canadian gold cheaper? i would think you would recommend buying maple leafs over gold eagles.
