I don't think there's anything cooler than a good group playing outside during a summer party in the middle of nature! Wow guys you sound amazing!
This is really great! Wish I was there enjoying the moment...
Keep on rockin in a free world

What do you mean "not-well-known from Robin Trower?" It's a classic forerunner to "Bridge of Sighs." Awesome performance though. Thanks for sharing.

Woodstock??

@wvicena Wow, calling a guy stupid because he miced his guitar amp... Haven't played out much have ya?
I really like the way you try to insult these guys, but instead come off looking just like the stupid troll you are.

At least learn the chords....

Not bad and an awesome song. I was impressed with your singing. What's your overall opinion of the vl micro vibe? Do you think it would be appropriate for someone playing a Strat?

Thanks for stopping by. Yes most definitely, the micro vibe sounds great with a strat. All the vl have a recurrent problem with the foot switch. Mine is no exception. Check out the reviews at harmonycentral.

It appears you are micing that blues deville. If you are that would be pretty stupid. It would be better just to turn it up to get that tube/speaker distortion rather than keep it at low volumes and mic it through the PA. And why would you play through the fender when there is a Marshall half cab right next to it, unless of course the Marshall is Solid State. You should have invited more people too.

Yes, the Deville was miked, like everything else. When you play in an open place, the 60W of the Deville pale in front of the 2000W of the board. Besides, the goal here is not to mimic Mr. Trower, with a Strat and a Marshall half stack, but rather to play his song with our own signature tones, which is achieved through gibson guitars and Fender tube amps, among other things.

is that a bassman you're playing through? sounds good.

Hi,
Thanks. It's a 4x10 Blues Deville, lacquered with Bullseye Orange Shellac. The sound and visual are pretty close to a Bassman.
