@sahara934 dart frogs are poisonous and some are extremely poisonous. Apparently, most of the poison a dart frog packs comes from the food they eat. Ants and such, which do carry a poison. In captivity, they're much less poisonous and can be handled, though I wouldn't go about putting them in my mouth or wiping my eyes with one. It's also a good idea to wash one's hands after handling them.

Wow, that's a lot of dedication. I have to red ear turtles and they are so much easier to take care of than amphibians, but still, maybe in the future I'll get some newts.

need to be careful with oak leaves, fresh ones have a slight acidity that might damage tadpoles fleshy skin
