Naacp is a membership organization, which deal with issues concerning the advancement of the african american communities. there are 18 branches of NAACP. recently they are lookin at enviornmental racism which deals with pollution in the poor communities. other issues were lookin at right now is the education and health care sectors. they try to educate the people of the community to the issues on hand to advance colored people. also the preperation

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a member based organization. The agenda is set by the national office but local offices has the opportunity to set its own objectives as it is in the community. Recent issues have been health and the economy. One of Nashvilles current focuses are the schools and the fact that some are starting to resegregate.
