Silmarillion chapter 4: Of Aulë and Yavanna part 2

This is the first part of an audio recording of the forth chapter of J.R.R Tolkens masterpiece The Silmarillion. The rest of the chapter is on my acount. If you like it comment and I upload the rest of the book. (this is shor chapter and only has two parts) I would also like to know how important art and maps are to you. If they are important I will contine to add art and modify maps if you do not care I won't bother.

@Filby Too bad Entwives never found....LORT has history of another world rich in lore and history, amazing for a fiction....wonder if Eldest holds the same appeal....must be a copycat of LORT

@lillkutty007 Yavanna desired that her trees should be protected, so Illuvatar sent spirits to inhabit them, who became the Ents. Treebeard was the oldest of them. The Elves didn't bring the Ents to life - they were already alive, but the Elves taught them language and song.

They were successful in preserving the forests, but by the time of LotR (thousands of years later) they had become old and tired. Merry and Pippin helped rouse them once more.

i think i get it....talking trees yuvana's thought and eagles yuvana's and mawne's thought...the spirit must have pocessed the elves and made them sing so that some good trees come alive and the mightiest must have been treebeard....

am at a loss in complehending this...are they talking about treebeard...spirits which spirits...the trrebeard trees came to life wen elves sang and gave them life....

and dont think they were sucessful in preserving the forests until merry and pippin

instigated anger in treebeard against Saruman...
